Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the things people ask most.
How many people can play?
Anywhere from one to a full table. Solo works for practice, and turns are short enough that larger groups still move along. Past eight or so players the wait between your own turns gets long, since turns are taken one at a time.
Is it free?
Yes. The browser version is free to play. If you enjoy it, the best way to support the people who created the game is to buy the physical set from Glue Bunny Games.
How does online play work?
One person creates a game and gets a short code or an invite link. Everyone else opens it, enters a name, and joins. Players connect directly to each other, browser to browser, so there is nothing to install and no account to make.
Do I need to be in the same room?
No. Online play works across different locations. You just need to share the code or link. For everyone on one device, use the pass-and-play option instead.
Why do I want a low score?
Bitches flips the usual idea on its head. Points are a penalty equal to how far each die is from its best face, so the most disciplined player, not the luckiest, tends to come out lowest. See the rules for the exact scoring.
What is the special "Bitches" die?
The physical set includes a custom six-sided die with its own art. In this digital version it is treated as an ordinary six-sided die for scoring.
Can someone join after the game starts?
No. Players join in the lobby before the first roll. Once the host starts the game, the roster is locked for that game.
What happens if someone disconnects?
If a player drops on their own turn, the game banks whatever they had set aside and moves on to the next player, so a lost connection does not freeze the game for everyone else.
Is this the official game?
No. This is an unofficial, fan-made digital version. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of the physical game. To get the real dice and bag, buy it from Glue Bunny Games.
